While the world remains off-track to keeping global warming to 1.5C, climate adaptation is poised to grow in prominence and priority. Alongside government-led action, private actors are increasingly recognising that they too must rise to the challenge of adapting business strategies to actual and anticipated climate impacts. Fittingly, recent developments lend weight to the case for ratcheting up private sector engagement in adaptation as a priority for business leaders.
