Our regular updates cover key developments in the application of competition law to the financial sector in the UK in recent months. In this update, we focus in particular on the intersection between Big Tech’s presence in the financial sector and UK competition law, the entry into effect of new UK and EU subsidy control regimes and the latest developments in ongoing class action and cartel cases, as well as in the Competition and Markets Authority’s (CMA) continued enforcement of open banking in the UK.
